1851 Census

The 1851 Census UK date was the night of 30 March 1851.  We are able to provide links directly to the 1851 English Census, 1851 Scottish Census, 1851 Welsh Census, 1851 Isle of Man Census and the 1851 Channel Islands Census.  Some new questions were asked in this census including asking the person’s relation to the head of the household, marital status, place of birth, whether blind, deaf or dumb, and language spoken (in Ireland).  In addition to this the rounding down of ages was removed.
